Terms of Service | River Parish Operations

Section 1

Account access

Each customer company designates authorized administrators. Users must protect credentials and are responsible for activity under their login. Deactivated or offboarded users lose access. River Parish Operations may suspend access when a company is past due, suspended, or archived.

Section 2

Authorized use

The service may be used only for lawful business operations inside the customer’s authorized company workspace. Customers may not attempt to access another company’s data, probe tenant isolation, or interfere with platform security.

Section 3

Customer responsibilities

Customers remain responsible for their personnel, workflow configuration, the accuracy of submitted information, required notices, and their own legal and regulatory obligations, including OSHA, DOT, and company policy.

Section 4

Customer data ownership and export

Operational records created in a customer workspace (equipment, people, projects, safety documents, inspections, and related files) are owned by the customer. River Parish Operations processes that data only to provide the service, backups, support, and legal compliance.

Customers may export company records through in-product export and backup tools. Super Admin restore of a backup is a reviewed process (dry-run first; live restore requires typed confirmation). After termination, customers may request an export of remaining company data within a commercially reasonable period, after which deletion follows the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.

Section 5

Electronic signatures — Louisiana / ESIGN

The platform may capture electronic acknowledgements and signatures (for example JSA sign-off, document acknowledgement, and equipment checkout). Customers elect to use electronic records and signatures for those in-product workflows.

ATTORNEY REVIEW REQUIRED — ESIGN / UETA / Louisiana

Confirm that in-product signatures satisfy the federal ESIGN Act, the Louisiana Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (La. R.S. 9:2601 et seq.), and any industry recordkeeping rules that apply to a given customer. Identify which workflows are intended as legally operative signatures versus operational acknowledgements. Do not treat this paragraph as a consumer-consent or government-filings opinion.

Section 6

DOT, DVIR, and certification language

Modules that record vehicle inspections, driver qualifications, or DVIR-style checklists are tools for the customer’s own compliance program. Use of the platform does not itself certify a vehicle, driver, or motor carrier.

ATTORNEY REVIEW REQUIRED — DOT / DVIR placeholder

Insert the approved certification, disclaimer, and record-retention language for FMCSA / Louisiana DOT inspection reports, DVIRs, and related driver files. Until that language is approved, inspection records should be treated as customer operational documentation, not as a third-party certification by River Parish Operations.

Section 7

Safety and compliance disclaimer

River Parish Operations provides tools to help companies manage and document operational and safety processes. Use of the platform does not itself guarantee compliance with laws, regulations, OSHA requirements, DOT requirements, or company policy.

Section 8

Availability and third-party services

Service targets, maintenance windows, and support expectations will be stated in the applicable order form. The platform may interoperate with email, SMS, hosting, and payment providers under their own terms.

Section 9

Limitation of liability

Add warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, exclusions, caps, and risk allocation consistent with applicable law and the commercial agreement.

Section 10

Termination

Either party may terminate as set out in the order form. Upon termination or company archive, access ends. Customers should export needed records before the retention window closes. Fees already incurred remain payable unless the order form says otherwise.

Section 11

Governing law

ATTORNEY REVIEW REQUIRED

Governing law, venue, dispute process, and any arbitration or class-action terms have not been selected or approved. Louisiana law is the expected baseline for a Louisiana operations company, pending counsel.
