Customer text messages and consent

How customers of service companies using River Parish Operations agree to, receive, and stop text messages.

Who sends these texts

River Parish Operations LLC provides software to lawn care, landscaping, and equipment service companies. Through it, a service company texts its own customers. Every message starts with the service company's name.

What you may receive

  • A morning-of notice that the crew is scheduled at your property that day (at most one per day, between 7 and 11 AM local time, only if the company has turned it on).
  • A quote you requested, or a reminder that the quote is still open.

No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Example: “Bayou Lawn Care: Our crew is scheduled at your place today. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

How you opt in

You give your mobile number to the service company when you request service (in person, by phone, or on a quote or service agreement) and tell them you agree to receive texts about your visits and quotes. The company's staff then checks “Customer agreed to receive texts” on your customer record. The application stores the date consent was recorded and will not send any text to a customer without it.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to stop all texts from that number. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or contact trey@riverparishoperations.com or (225) 954-1365. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
